Language courses for private individuals

You want to

• prepare for a job interview, or for a meeting/presentation, and/or you have no time to participate in regular group courses?

Then our individual, one-to-one course is exactly the right thing for you. Your tutor will concentrate specifically on your needs and goals while communicating the language knowledge to you.
You, yourself, will determine the pace at which you want to learn. We will give you a free placement test, after which we will create, with you, your own individual learning program and together we will decide on the content (e.g. vocabulary and special phrases), numbers of hours and times of lessons. (Evening and weekend appointments are also possible.)
The language training we can offer, in individual lessons, is possible in all subject-specific and technical areas of specialisms. If you want, the lesson can take place at your home or at your office – whichever is more suitable for you.
Individual lessons are the most effective way of learning a foreign language quickly.

With us, you will learn in small, homogenous groups with a maximum of 4 participants, as the smaller the group, therefore the greater is the individual learning success. Our group lesson programs include: beginners courses, language courses for the advancedlearner, ‘refreshers’ and conversation courses. Right from the start you will learn to use the target language through role plays and discussions.

In our conversation classes we place value on the practical application of the language. By doing this we help participants to refresh the most important grammar areas of language learning.

We offer conversation courses in: English, French, Spanish and German, as well as in individual and in group lessons. The specific themes for discussion will be decided on at the beginning of the course and, here, the personal interests of the participant can be taken into consideration.

Using original texts from the press and literature, vocabulary will be expanded upon and fluency trained in the respective foreign language.

You know someone, who has the similar language prerequisites and goals to you? Then you will be interested in our partner lessons. This form of lesson is especially suitable for couples, friends and colleagues, who are following the same goals (e.g. the holiday together in Spain, or telephone training for work, etc.) As in the case of the individual programs, you will decide what the focus of the lessons should be and what you need.

The individual lesson appointments, as well as the frequency of the lessons, can be agreed upon equally flexibly. We offer partner lessons in: English, French, Spanish, Italian and German at all levels.

The learning content will depend on your existing language skills and ability. We offer weekend courses at all levels.

The course length consists of 15 lessons at 45 minutes each. The lesson days and times are Friday from 4 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 to 3.30 inclusive of short breaks.

If you wish, we can also offer a weekend course of 25 hours – on request.

These courses are ideal for participants who have only a short time in which to be able to master a foreign language for their job. The lessons will be matched to the personal and subject-specific needs of the participant/(s), and the most important basics will also be taught, such as for example in connection with: telephone calls and business correspondence, and the vocabulary for business, trade, and office administration, etc. The prerequisite for these courses is that you already have agood foundation in the target language. We offer these courses in the area of business: Business English, Business French, Business Spanish, Business Italian and Business German.

If you want to learn a language from scratch and in the shortest time possible, or if you want to perfect your language knowledge, then an intensive course is exactly right for you. It is ideal for all those who have little time. Naturally we offer intensive courses also as business language courses: Business English, French for the profession, Spanish professional and German for work. Bookable from 1 week to 2 weeks with up to 10 lesson units per day.

A lesson unit is 45 minutes.
